suit

(my latest illustration friday submission)
after nearly twelve years of ever increasing growth, three huge euonymus shrubs
didn't suit their location any longer,
so i chopped them down yesterday.
wow that really opened up the garden and makes it feel so much less claustrophobic!
i will miss their firey red fall color though.
here's an ode to those beautiful shrubs that were sacrificed yesterday.
no worries...i plant new stuff in the garden all the time so there's no loss of oxygen being produced here.
oh, next to the euonymus leaves shown here are some sasafras leaves.
